The Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf) cordially invites you to the Launch of the ASSAf Forum on Food Safety theme ‘Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future.

The three core objectives for this launch are:

1. To officially inaugurate the ASSAf Forum on Food Safety as the central, multi-stakeholder platform for dialogue and concerted action.
2. To solicit nominations for Forum membership from key sectors across government, academia, industry, and civil society.
3. To identify initial priority areas to inform the Forum's first collaborative, science-driven work programme.
